A great post but makes me realize I am a slack foodie as I didnt know of many of these places and I must check out some of them :)
He he I guess you are still in time, since you go to the city weeks day, you can go to those places and check them out! :)
I will add them to my list of places to check out when it warms up :)
Cheese is awesome, black and white cookies confuse me, and that pizza looks delicious, but I'm a skeptic as I have yet to have a good Chicago deep dish pizza's. I've become a cold hearted and think all "famous" city pizzas are just a scam to help pizza restaurants sell more pizza LOL.
Thanks for sharing and want to try Bagels And Lox now.
Yes you are right about the pizza @gniksivart, I have to tell you that I hesitated about to add or not Pizza to my post but later on I reading, I learned that Lombardi is the 1st pizzeria in the in the US, and because is in NYC I added it. Thank you for stopping by! I appreciate it! :)
O that's very cool! I'll have to check out the 1st then that's always worth it.
Anything made from dough (bagels, pizza crust, etc) in NYC just tastes better! I feel like I might still have Velveeta in my arteries from eating it as a kid in macaroni and cheese, so it's probably a good thing I eat plant-based now to try to clear it all out! ;)
Yes you are right I only try it out once back in 2006 when I arrived, at this point I think It is all out of my system!
P/s: the milk of the cows it is only for their babies.
Aren't we lucky that there are so many amazing vegan cheeses available now? We can leave the milk to the calves!
Yes we are! :)
Great post @maruharraca! I think one thing we can all agree on is that each of our states has some great food!!
Yes @deerjay each state has their unique and great food!
It all looks so good!! I've heard about those cookies. We have something called a berger cookie here that is a shortbread with a glob of chocolate on top...mmmm!
Uyyyyy sounds yummmmmmmyy!
I got a stomach ache just looking at some of that stuff, don't know that I could live on what I've seen in this post but it is good that the effort was made on your part.
Just fooling, nice work.
lol
Thank you!
Nice selections, that pizza looks delicious :)
Thank you!
