My first painting in acrylics

My art life started with the love of comics, especially spider man, I drew and drew and drew when I was a child.
I then moved from pencils and ink to watercolours and experimented loads.
My next move was to experiment with acrylics which was a huge change for me.
This was my first experiment and although the change was difficult I am quite happy with the outcome.
It gave me the ability to add some mystique, I really wanted more feeling to my paintings.
I wanted viewers to make up their own story of what was happening and the feeling.
I would love some feedback on what you feel and what is happening.

My inspiration was my girlfriend (at the time) relaxing after a bath and a hard day at work.
I walked behind her as she relaxed on the sofa, naked, drink in hand, watching her favourite TV show.
The image stuck in my head, so I tried to create from memory, the moment.

Most of all I hope this painting brings something to your day.
