When you first watch Star Wars it's hard to appreciate how bonkers this line is.

Vader is a representative of his galaxy's government here. Why is he talking like like a Scooby Doo villian?

I mean -we- know he's a monster, hell, even Vader probably isn't too happy with himself at this point, but this kinda talk has gotta cause some serious morale problems in the ranks.
