Introduction to Star's Backyard #introduceyourself

Hi my name is Elena and I want to introduce you to Star.

This is Star and she was born August 7th, 2017.

Around 10 hours after she was born we realized she had splayed legs and curled toes. (Basically she could NOT walk)

So it took a week of braces, taping up her toes and love, but she recovered fully. She was also the only chick of 4 eggs that hatched so needless to say she is very special to us.

So now that you know Star I would like to introduce you to her backyard.

This is just a glimpse of Star's feather friends. In fact we currently have 33 chickens 🐔, 17 ducks 🦆, 1 turkey 🦃, 5 guineas 🐦 and a White Bellied Caique.

That is not all though. She also has furry friends:

These guys are Buddy (Cane Corso - Italian Mastiff) Leo (Lion Type - Tibetan Mastiff) Hunter (Tiger Type - Tibetan Mastiff)

Oh!! and I can not forget to show you Star's other furry friend!

This handsome short-haired orange tabby's name is Boots. He was abandoned at a couple weeks old according to the vet. Someone just dropped him off in the neighborhood and we have been blessed ever since.

(There is a huge back story to us actually taking him in cause well we have dogs and birds 😜, but it has worked out and I will save that for another post)

So basically this makes up Star's Backyard and I plan to post about our days, neat back stories, life events, updates, rainbow 🌈 eggs:

This was today's chicken eggs 😍. It is pretty neat having pets that poop breakfast!! 😂😜 Especially rainbow colored Easter 🐣 eggs!

Oh and on top of having all these babies we will be getting more. In fact, we are currently building a Kio Pond for Peanut our pet turtle 🐢 ❤️ She is a small aquatic turtle, but Maurice has had her since she was the size of a peanut 🥜and she has a special place in our hearts. Here is her future home:

So in the next few months we will be enjoying new additions to our family from Kio, aquatic frogs, variety of different types of fish 🐟 which I can not wait to see come together and post about.

Oh and we are getting another fury baby! My fiancé, Maurice does not know yet but for Christmas 🎄 he is getting a Great Dane. Here are the two puppies he can choose from:

This one above is my favorite. Then there is this adorable black one:

I think he will end up choosing based on temperament, but regardless I am so excited and I know he is absolutely going to fall in love 😍 with one ☝️ of these new additions to our family.
