The cosmic eyes

The inspiration for these cosmic eyes is the planetary nebulae in the universe, that is, the nebulae that form when yellow dwarfs like the Sun and stars of similar mass die.

Not having enough mass to turn them into supernovae in later life, the shell of the star expands and eventually dissipates, leaving only a white dwarf at its core.
