The main problem I have with these units is that if your opponent does scan, which they will normally do before they attack a base, the units are exposed and completely helpless. I suppose they could run away but infestors can't take very much damage before dying either.
one workaround for that is to keep them away from the main activities of a base, just a bit outside. If your oppponent travels with a detector of sorts (which is unlikely when facing zerg) and even if he does it is unlikely they are going to notice an infestor sitting next to some random wall.
