The lightsaber logic is ridiculous.

So, according to Ashoka logic, a person can survive being impaled through the gut with a lightsaber and be out of the hospital in a week; but, a lightsaber can also take out a spacecraft with deflector shields.

According to post (overly hated) Prequel Trilogy Star Wars, if you're one of the most beloved characters in cinema history, a lightsaber through the gut is fatal. If you're an ancillary, wanna-be girl boss character, it's a scratch. If you're a Sith that had two lines in the live-action films, getting cut in half with a lightsaber and falling down a bottomless pit is survivable.

I mean, Jar Jar Abrams started pulling this shit with his Star Trek knock-offs. Is everybody involved with Disney Star Wars taking screenwriting classes from this no-talent douche?
