How to connect to Stakepool Teamspeak

1. Download Teamspeak 3 for your PC, Mac, Phone or tablet
2. Connect your teamspeak-client to ts.stakepool.com
3. Set your Identity-Security to 29+
4. Set Push-To-Talk HotKey to 3 buttons you need to hold down at the same time while you talk on Teamspeak (Mac: FN+ALT+CMD) (Windows: CTRL+WINDOWS BUTTON+ALT)

Higher Identity-Security

The First time you join Stakepool Teamspeak you need to set your Identity-Security to 29. This process will take about 20 minutes to complete and once it is done, your security is strong enough to join the server.

The reason for this is so that people will have a harder time to flood the server with bots, and also keep trolls out so that only real people with real stakes in the game can talk with each other instead of listening to all the noise from people who constantly have something to sell.

Hotkeys & Push-To-Talk settings

Set your Push-To-Talk button under Options->Capture

Push-To-Talk Hotkeys must be configured to talk on Stakepool Teamspeak. By default, your Teamspeak-Client comes with voice-activated microphone, this means that if a television is on in the background, your microphone will activate the teamspeak and everyone can hear what is going on in your room. To avoid emberrasment for users, and noise-interruption for regular users, all server-groups are set to only accept push-to-talk. Make sure you set up a good push-to-talk combination of 2-3 keys to hold down at the same

Administrate your Hotkeys under Options->Hotkeys

time when you speak. People who only use 1 hotkey are more likely to hit this button regurlarly, and broadcast "typing-sounds" to the entire chatroom. Before you join the main-room, make sure you have all these settings done correct.

Some friendly guidelines to consider:

1. Make sure you use a headset or have your speakers set on low to avoid echo.
2. Feel free to talk about anything, anytime to anyone - but do not be a pest in the community.
3. If someone upsets you and you feel the need to make a complaint, right-click the username and click "make a complaint" directly on teamspeak or send a message to a moderator
