As you all know, the Steem Accelerator Hub, STACH is the first and still the only physical store front for the Steem blockchain that was used (still being used) to onboard thousands of Africans in 2017 and 2018 and we created 2 accelerator hubs in Nigeria and co created 1 in the Philippines.
Stach is also responsible for dozens of meetups and campaigns held across Africa, and these activities helped introduce the Steem Blockchain to Africa and also helped develop young and vibrant leaders in various communities spread around the blockchain. What is New?
The Steem blockchain has been a blessing to many around the world and the Nigerian community can bear witness to that given the huge impacts individuals from this part of the world has made and still making.
To be able to keep making the desired impact that is needed to continually grow our community through the decentralization of the offline, we have created the Stach Token (STACH) on Steem Engine.
Yes, the STACH token has a total supply of 200000000 (200m) tokens and it will be the tool that will be used to run the community through,

Why we created the STACH Token.
The Stach community has been existing for 20 months now and will be clocking 2 years in August. The creation of the community is to decentralize the offline by providing an opportunity for young Africans so that, they can be able to access the internet, learn, create world changing dApps and become valuable members of the society and become their better selves, a mission we started and went on to create physical store fronts for the Steem Blockchain.
We however couldn't keep up the momentum following the Crypto bear season which saw a decline in upvote support.
With the launch of Steem Engine which is the first version of SMT, we have decided to launch our community driven token to help us keep creating value and drive adoption to the Steem Blockchain through onboarding, creation and introduction of new businesses.
How we will engage the Steem ecosystem with the STACH Token.
With the STACH Token, we will be able to start bringing valuable reward to the community through a robust curation and reward system powered by the STACH Token.
The model of operation will be through
- Curation: The 30% or the token will be sold to raise funds to power the STACH community accounts which includes,
@STACH: the community account of the Stach ecosystem that was the start of the project.
@STACH-Uyo: The Stach Uyo community account that was used for the curation of the community members.
@STACH PAY: an account created to support creative writers and to encourage good contents on the Steem Blockchain.
@STACH PHILIPPINES: The Philippines community account created to provide curation support for the users.
@SPORTSHUB: an account created to support sports content creators on the Steem Blockchain.
@PROJECTS-DAC: A project account created to act as a pool to supports projects around the Afrcian and Asian continents.
We shall be creating 2 more accounts to support the communities we will be launching this year. - Reward for Community Engagement and Participation: The token shall be used to reward community managers, moderators, show hosts and attendees.
With Stach Discord being a home to users who engage and provide services and supports, we are looking to make it a community that truly thrives and succeeds. - Reactivation of Accelerator Hubs: We created 3 accelerator hubs that had to be shut down following the decline in earnings and the bear market that made it impossible for us to keep up. With the launch of the token, we shall be reactivating the already existing 3 and also ensure the introduction of a revenue generating section to help keep the facilities operational and self sustaining.
- Organizing Meetups and Workshops: 2017 and 2018 was the year of meetups and workshop and these events created awareness for the Steem blockchain and brought users in their thousands. The community was able to create viral effect through these gatherings and many young people were onboarded to the Steem blockchain. We will be organizing meetups and monthly workshops to teach young people about the Steem Blockchain and the very many opportunities embedded therein.
- Supporting new communities: With our understanding of community creation, we will be using the platform to help create sub communities to ensure everyone is carried along in their various corners and gathering.
- Project support: Chief in our plans is to be able to support young people who have projects that they are working on. This will be to support Musicians, Farmers, Movie producers, dApp developer etc. We will ensure we use the Dac to introduce more talented and hardworking people in the world.
Our Guarantee
We have been functional for 20 months and have been working round the clock to ensure we are able to create a sustainable model that will help the community thrive and remain engaging through the bear and bull markets.
We set out to decentralize the offline by creating means for young people to collaborate and share through the provision of accelerators complete with free electricity and Wifi and we did all that with post earnings.

This is real goodnews that @Stach 2.0 is reactivated. This is one #steem project that motivated me so much in my early days. Though I was not aware of the functionality if @Stach-Uyo, I have personlaly turned my Creativity Hub in Uyo (precisely, 25 Udi Street, Uyo) to a #Steem hub where do do meet-ups, and train newbies and as well accept #steem as payment for services.
I will love to collaborate with @Stach-uyo to make a great of #steem in the city and state at large.
