What Footprints Are You Leaving Behind?

I don’t think most people have taking a second to think about that! If they did, we wouldn’t see most of the things we see on social media. There would be more of us taking advantage of the facts that we have before us, an opportunity to shapene not only today’s world, but the one we leave behind. What “your children’s grandchildren and their great grandchildren will tell,” what will they tell when it comes to you? How you lived your life? Not that we are here to judge or be judged, but the truth of the matter is they will say something, and we have every opportunity to have a say in how we are remembered:

Sometimes, I weep bitterly for this generation by numerous abominable activities been displayed in our locality and social media. It seems these days majority of persons don't think before they act; bloodshed is rather the order of the day in the name of making quick money, (when you tell them about steemit, they will say i don't have such patience to wait), father sleeping with his own blood daughter, married men and women involving in extra-marital affair, conspiracy in our co-operate offices, just to bring one down, etc.

My question is , what will you be remembered for? A question for everyone of us to ponder on.

RELATIONSHIP: Some persons would walk in and out of our lives in the name of relationship without leaving any meaningful footprint or impact that will be remembered. Why going into a relationship when you are not adding anything good or removing anything bad. Or, why would you go into a relationship with the plan of hurting someone or just to prove something negative.

AT WORK: Are people always commending you for your diligence, or they know you to be a hypocrite (an eye-service worker), a gossip, a backbiter, a lazy worker or one who is a regular late comer or one who steals or one who falsify documents? Would your fellow workers be happy when you are leaving the company because of your misdemeanor? Or would they elect you whenever a work leader is needed? Please, turn a new live!

IN THE CHURCH: Are you a bench-warmer? (i.e. Someone who comes to church in the morning and leaves when church closes without partaking in any church activities, without exchanging pleasantries, without dancing, singing, clapping or praying: He only comes to church because he feels bored at home or because his family members are there. He has no view or plan of communicating with God or whatsoever. He is just a space occupier without creating any impart as a christian.) Or, are you the type who always finds fault in others; in their sentences, modes of dressing, etc. just because you feel you are more educated than them. Are you a trouble-maker in the church? (one who derives pleasure in quarreling). Are you the proud type who looks down on others without any thought of helping others? Or, are you from the linage of the sons of Eli?

IN THE SOCIETY: Aliko Dangote is known as a massive Business Entrepreneur and as the richest man in Africa, Nelson Mandela is known to be a freedom fighter and as one of the best presidents in the whole world for his wisdom and his leadership skills. Thomas Edison is known as a self-educated man who invented electric light. And the biggest, BILL GATES is known as the MD/CEO and inventor of Microsoft computer. What are you known for?

IN YOUR IMMEDIATE FAMILY: What are you known for? Are you parasitic, symbiotic, or the host? Are you the very rich type who doesn't think of raising others close to you standard so you don't want to help, but want everyone to be depending on you for even as low as garri (grinded and fried cassava)? Like a Nigerian musician sang ''WHO YOU HELP?'' Please, help someone and you or your children would get the reward!
