Tales of Tonia 1

It was the first day of my one week vacation, I was excited to leave home and work to have a blissful one week with Bode. I was happy and full of hope. Bode had said that we had a lot to discuss and he wanted to make sure that my one week with him wasn't going to leave my memory too soon.
My flight was long but stress less, but then, who thinks of stress when I would be spending time with my Bode. I landed Paris feeling energetic and ready to start my week. Bode had told me we would be attending a birthday party being organized for his godson. One year old birthday, I rolled my eyes remembering that conversation, like do adults attend a one year birthday? Bode seemed to be interested in kids affairs these days,he plays with kids everywhere he finds them and even bought a toy the other day at the mall for a crying baby he didn't even know.
I'm not surprised though, we had spent a whole night arguing about having children. Bode suddenly wants kids and wants them now, like now now. I had told him no marriage, no baby and you needed to have seen or heard Bode looking and sounding like he wanted to cry because baby would not appear now now from the blues... Lol...
Bode had come to Paris earlier just to plan the birthday party himself. Na wa o, this new found love for kids baffles me no be small.
My sweetim was waiting already, his eyes beamed when he saw me, Kai,this love ehn... I ran like a little girl into daddy's arm, hmmm.... How warm.... He lifted me a bit and spinned.. "Haba Bode, drop me biko" I blushed. He dropped me but didn't let go off me. " I've missed you Tonia" he said planting a kiss on my forehead,you know those kind of forehead kisses that makes you forget who you are or where you're from bha, Kai,my body shook, a cold shiver ran down my spine and I hugged him tighter. I've missed him too. We quarrel a whole lot, we sometimes spent the whole day just speaking once on phone to each other but yet we knew we were knotted together in out hearts.
It's been a Rocky relationship between us, stable today, shaky tomorrow but Lai Lai, we no dey fit leave each other. There was a time I was so angry I told Bode it was over between us. He just looked at me and said "Tonia, I asked you out, and you agreed, like the two both of us consented, so now if you want to break up, you need to ask me and I need to give consent" he shrugged and just continued with his jollof rice. I stood there thinking of what to do that will pain him. I Opened my bag and brought out my body spray. And yours truly sprayed his wonderful Nigeria jollof rice... Hahaha hahaha.... I laughed a wicked laugh and ran out of the house before it became a spray fight and someone will get injured..when I got outside I took my time to laugh well, forgetting that we were in a heated quarrel minutes ago...
Remembering these now, I smiled, held my man tighter and inhaled his body spray.
This is gonna be one hell of a week.....
