Choosing happiness
Happiness is one of the most sought after things in the world.It is the reason why we make new friends,why we choose a hairstyle,and why we are always looking for that perfect relationship.
The chase after happiness however is a lifelong one and most people never get a hold of it.
There are a few steps i have found helpful in my pursuit.
1.boldHappiness is a choice not a feeling.
When most of us think of happiness the first thing that comes to mind is the euphoria we have after we receive some good news,or the butterflies in our tummy when we finally get a smile from a long time crush.
Happiness however is the reason why you can smile even when things arent going okay and you are down in the dumps.It is the choice you make every morning to face the day with the best attitide youve got!
2.Happiness is a daily choice.
We hear this all the time,but most people dont put it to practice.Everyday when we wake up,we must make a conscious attempt to be happy.At first it is difficult,just like the first few weeks after we begin an exercise regimen or start dieting,but with time it becomes a habit.yes..a habit!
3.boldLet go of anything(or anyone )that stands in your way.
Take the bold step today to walk away from toxic situations and relationships.Learn to say no.Change houses if you have to,move to a different town.Slow down a bit,take a nap,feed your soul.
Life is too short to be anything but happy.
Choose wisely!
