Sri Lanka Supurfowl(A Red Notice birds)
Spurfowl is a member of the pheasant family and it eats seeds, fallen fruits, termites and most delicious insects as its main food.He can be seen in the thick rain forests in Sri Lanka. He is an animal unique to those forests and his tribe is called Galiphomes.
The female, which lives in Sri Lanka, lays between 2-5 eggs at a time and its length is 37cm
Both males and females have brown upperparts and a tail and wings.
Another peculiar characteristic of him is his ability to throw his voice. His cubs live in herds from childhood to adulthood.
He has also contributed to the postal industry in Sri Lanka because the stamps with his image have spread in Sri Lanka and he has been named as a world heritage.
