There is a possibility Jerome Boateng will be released Bayern Munich to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer market. Here's the potential development of that transfer.

According to Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, so far no official communication has been made from Les Parisiens in connection with his interest in Boateng.

Rummenigge claims to know that Boateng representatives have opened personal talks with PSG. But he insists that ultimately there must be a final decision that can satisfy all parties concerned.

"There is no communication (from Bayern) with PSG," Rummenigge said as quoted by ESPN FC.

"So far nothing has been discussed about the cost (transfers) or anything related to money, I know Jerome's agents are already in contact with PSG, but there is still a need for a final decision," he said.

In pre-season activity in Singapore, PSG coach Thomas Tuchel has previously expressed his hope to add depth to the squad in particular on the defensive.

The future of Boateng at Bayern is being speculated. In addition to the injury case has disturbed the 29-year-old defender over the last few years, Niko Kovac as Bayern's new coach reportedly also did not plot Boateng as a pillar of the back line.

"Basically, we have enough players in that position if Jerome go anyway," Rummenigge said some time ago.
