Problem Rumor Transfer Bale, Pochettino Call-Ronaldo
Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino commented on transfer speculation Gareth Bale. He mentioned the name Cristiano Ronaldo.
The future of Bale in Real Madrid continues to be speculated. One of them rumored going back to Tottenham, a club that he had defended in 2007-2013.
Bale had time to confess frustration in Madrid, especially after last season is rarely played. Next season, his chances of being a new top choice come with the departure of Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Pochettino explained, Bale return chance to Tottenham is not realistic because the price is expensive. He compared it to Ronaldo who moved to Juventus for 100 million euros.
"It's unrealistic, where he's going, Manchester United can not pay his salary, no one can, only one club can pay his salary," Pochettino told SuperSport told the Daily Star.
"That's the world he's in. The paycheck has to be cut so big to go elsewhere, and I'm sure he'll do it, but realistically who's trying to bargain and buy it.How can the club offer it and spend 80 million -90 million pounds sterling? "
"Yes Juventus can do it for Ronaldo, but it's a different business, but Gareth, how to spend a lot of money on players who will not be back? Maybe it could be part of the exchange but Gareth will not be part of any team exchange deal, he's a good player for that. "
"So I just do not see it being a possible step for anyone to approach," he added.
