The Old Ladies are Knock Out of the Champions League

Italian Champions Juventus were yesterday beaten by Ajax to end their hope for a Champions league glory. Ajax beat Juventus 2-1 yesterday at the Italian home. Cristiano Ronaldo has single handedly helped the Italian side scale through form the round of sixteen to the quarter finals. He has scored five goals in three Champions league games but even him could not stop them from being knocked out.

Ajax has thus proven that they are not to be looked down on. They knocked out Real Madrid from the competition with a humiliating 4-1 victory at Bernebeu. They have once again proven that they are ready to face big name. They seem fearless and yesterday was a bet at it as they sealed their place in the Semi finals of the competition. They are to face either Tottenham Hotspur or Manchester city who plays today.
