Ole Gunnar Solskjaer couldn't get Woodward to agree to Transfer budget

Few days after being announced a trip new coach of the side, Ole Gunnar tried to get the United board to see his plans concerning recruitment for the next season but it seems Woodward and the rest of the board weren't buying it.

For one, Manchester United are in a position where they may not be able to prize players away from their current clubs. They currently sit sixth position in the log after back to back defeats to Arsenal and Wolves. It's unlikely that they'll win the Champions league and that would mean no Champions league next season, one crucial factor for most players.

Also, there's the case of Juan Mata and Herrera whose contracts runs down at the end of the season. They stand a chance of moving to other clubs on free transfer.
