The Super Eagles Lost Again to Czech Republic
The Nigerian super eagles have faced yet another defeat in the ongoing world cup rehearsals. With the 2018 world cup to be hosted in Russia is already at hand, countries participated in international friendlies to check or verify their readiness.
From the results of the international friendlies that the Nigerian Super eagles have played. One can say that there is really no need to expect much from them in the World Cup proper.
The super eagles played against a Much strong English Side. The struggled to get in tune with the match. The match which was played in wembly stadium London ended 2 goals to 1 in favour of England.
The match against Czeech republic was another dissapointing performnace from the boys. The entire country was expecting the super eagles to give us something to hope for before the world cup by winning Czech republic that is really not a very formidable team compared to the coutries that are in the same group with Nigeria in the world cup.
The match ended 1:0 in favour of Czech republic with a goal scored in 18th minute of the game. the czech side pressed Nigeria very hard with a lot of goal scoring opportunities but could only convert one.
