Klopp confirms that Mingolet will start in goal against Chelsea

Liverpool are to play Chelsea in the third round of this season's EFL Cup.
The Belgian had not had the best of lucks in recent times as he's seen his place taken by goalkeepers coming in. Last season, he saw Karius take his place as the number and after Karius' famous howler at the Champions league final last season, the club opted for a record-breaking move for Allison.
Now, Karius is on loan to Besiktas and Mingolet has been forced to play second-fiddle to Allison.
However, Klopp has confirmed that Mingolet would start the game on Wednesday. He said this in a news conference before the game.
Klopp said he was pleased to finally give Mingolet an opportunity to as three goalkeeper has been training very well. He said it was unfortunate that he's seen his place go to Allison and that the goalie had wanted to leave the club but that they couldn't risk it.
Klopp also spoke on the injury situation with Van Djik on the sideline after hurting himself further on his injured rib. He was said Lovren would come in for him. He also spoke about Origi recovering from his ankle injury.
