Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis flicked with Cristiano Ronaldo's transfer to Juventus. According to him, recruiting Ronaldo will be very dangerous for Juve.

Ronaldo, 33, was officially signed by the Bianconeri from Real Madrid after being redeemed for a deal that reached EUR 117 million or nearly Rp 2 trillion. In his new club, the world's top five players are also well paid.

Juventus must spend EUR 120 million for four years to sign Ronaldo. Thus, the former Manchester United star will receive more than Rp 500 billion per year.

It is undeniable that Ronaldo's presence has indeed stretched back Italian football that has dimmed over the past decade. However, De Laurentiis believes Juventus have made a risky decision.

"Spending a lot of money on a player at the end of his career is very dangerous," De Laurentiis told La Vertia, quoted by the Daily Express.

"Remember that Cristiano Ronaldo is currently at a certain age and in relation to the club's balance sheet, his transfer is a risky move."

"Ronaldo's recruitment is out of the ordinary If you start paying silly and unreasonable salaries, sooner or later this will boomerang for you."

As already-already Napoli will be a direct rival of Juve in the Scudetto 2018/19 season competition. Partenopei's first meeting with Juventus and his Ronaldo will take place in the seventh week of Serie A, Sept. 30 at the Allianz Stadium.
