U-16 AFF Cup Top Score: Hat-trick, Bagus Kahfi Makes New Goal Record

Amiruddin Bagus Kahfi Al-Fikri carved a hat-trick against Cambodia in the 2018 U-16 AFF Cup. His hat-trick resulted in a new goal record in the Under-16 AFF Cup.

Bagus Kahf broke down Cambodia's goal three times in the Group A match at the Gelora Delta Stadium, Sidoarjo on Monday (6/8/2018). These three goals led Indonesia to a landslide victory 4-0.

With the addition of three goals, Bagus Kahfi has packed 11 goals in five matches in the 2018 AFF Cup 16 AFF Cup group stage. He previously scored two goals each against the Philippines, Myanmar, Vietnam and Timor Leste.

Good Kahfi is now the holder of a new goal record in the U-16 AFF Cup. He passed the achievements of two Australian players, John Roberts and Marc Moric, who scored eight goals throughout the tournament. Roberts recorded the incision in 2015 and 2016, while Moric in 2015.

The closest competitor Bagus Kahfi is a Vietnamese player, Dinh Thanh Trung, who collected eight goals. However, Trung did not have a chance to increase his number of goals because Vietnam failed to qualify for the semifinals.
