John Obi Mikel, His thought about England and Nigeria game that no one else have thought of.

The winning of England against Nigeria in their penultimate game at Wembley ahead of the world cup was a narrow one.
Because of the 2-0 goals from Harry Kane and Gary Cahill in the first half of the game, Gareth Southgate’s men thought the road to victory had become a pleasurable one.
After the break, 47minutes down the line Alex Iwobi of Super Eagles netted which awakened the minds of Gareth Southgate’s men.
England had victory, but their performance was still not enough to become World Cup champions.
Tougher test awaits Nigeria in Russia as it is ranked 47th in the world.
It can also be said, with the performance of Gareth Southgate’s men, the possibility of winning their second world cup title is unlikely.
The captain of Super Eagles, John Obi Mikel believes the Eagles have window of going all the way in Russia.
He said “ with the youthfulness and energy in the team I think we stand a chance of making it all the way in Russia…..you can feel it”. This he said after the game, he also said the had some problems in the first half which was corrected in the second half and this made them play much better.
In the past England had a team capable of winning major tournaments, I don't know if same can be said now.
No one could not believe Mikel had made such a claim.
