lots of different spreadsheets are available including Excel inside my Microsoft Office which has been through various different incarnations over the years there's also a Google spreadsheet called sheet which is available for free.
Now, when it comes to collaboration, Google Sheet has a massive advantage over Excel due to its cloud-based nature. With Google Sheets, multiple users can access and edit the same documents simultaneously. This real-time collaboration makes it so easy for teams to work together and get things done, even if they're not in the same.
While in contrast, Microsoft Excel requires users to save and then share.
The simplest way to think about it is like this, Google Sheets is the perfect platform If you need collaboration and Microsoft Excel is right for you if you're looking for advanced features. So use Google Sheets if you need to collaborate. You don't need super technical spreadsheet features, and you want a free option.
Well, you should use Microsoft Excel. If you are working with large amounts of data, need super fast processing, speed, you need complex features, complicated formulas, and advanced data visualization, and you don't mind paying for advanced features.
So, which is better, Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel?
Well, while we would love to crown a single winner, the truth is you can't go wrong with either.
Various Functions
Addition (+) is used to add the values of two or more cells.
Subtraction (-) is used to subtract one value from another.
Multiplication( * ) is used to multiply the values of two or more cells.
Division (/) is used to divide one value by another
SUM Function is used in Excel as it adds the range of values together.
