RE: Picking the Los Angeles Lakers Over the Orlando Magic
Lakers don't have their first round draft pick this year right? So like Brooklyn they have zero incentive to lose playoffs or not. But there's been so many trades maybe that's changed somehow?
I'm not really sure. I just based my pick on how well the Lakers have been playing lately. Losing to Portland is nothing to be ashamed about, though if Lakers lose here, I probably will be more wary of picking them going forward.
The IT vs Lonzo Ball that's silently being waged is quite intriguing. Seems good for the team, altho the fates of IT and Zo might differ greatly in the next 12 months.
As is usual, the media and the fans think everyone is just everyone else's "bro" in one big happy family. Similar battle to Carson Wentz vs Nick Foles battle which is frankly just beginning, whilst everyone in Philly fools themselves into thinking they are just "best buds" tight as bows to fiddle.
