The last time I picked the Thunder they won and covered vs PG's old team, the Pacers, albeit in a close game.
Since then, they've lost to the Knicks and squeaked by the Sixers and Nuggets.
Basically the team still looks like a flop and is still a nightmare to bet on.
When you zig, Vegas zags, so I'm going with the "Bad 3" to right the ship here.
Nice call! OKC is indeed a tough call this year, but the key is Carmelo is generally cancer to any team he's joined-- bc he doesn't play a lick of defense.
The other big factor in this one was Gobert vs Westbrook dynamic. With Gobert out, that's Westbrook's ideal situation as he KNOWS he can get to the bucket and finish at will all game.
I think OKC would be way better if Carmelo would be open to the idea of coming off the bench instead of starting. Doubt it will ever happen though.
Much agreed, Anthony HAS the talent still; he should note Ginobili & Iggy (& DWade?) have so many rings, and he has none.
Offensive hubris is a funny thing!
True, it was a totally unfair matchup. Thunder have been a popular / fun team over the years but now I feel they're squarely on the dark side -- guys will be looking for reasons to fade them. Many more covers to come.
Winner winner!
Chaching!
Nice hit. The Thunder are probably the most frustrating team to cap for me. On some nights they are world beaters, then on the next night they lay'll lay an egg for no apparent reason.
Exactly.
