Bracketology for March 9, 2020
Bracketology covers all games through March 8, 2020.
Bubble teams did no favors for themselves and bubble spots have already burst due to Utah State and Bradley winning their conference tournament. This bracket reflects these changes.
Onto the highlights:
- Baylor may have the play-in game opponent, but they are the lowest ranked #1 seed of the group.
- Location was the reward over a seed line in many cases. Penn State may have received a #5 seed, which may seem very high, but they were sent to Spokane.
- Saint Mary's resume and the fall of teams that would be on the 8/9 line brought them up to a favorable #7 seed.
- Seton Hall falls to a #4 seed, but they get a favorable location - Albany.
- Last Four In: Stanford, Richmond, Northern Iowa, Indiana.
- First Four Out: Purdue, Texas, Cincinnati, North Carolina State
- Next Four Out: Mississippi State, Rhode Island, Saint Louis, Notre Dame
