Messi vs Ronaldo: Nigerian striker reveals his best player
Nigeria striker, Taiwo Awoniyi, has revealed who he thinks is a better player between two football titans, Barcelona captain, Lionel Messi and Juventus superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 22-year-old Taiwo who is presently on loan from Liverpool says that the Argentine skipper, Messi is the world's best player and is technically superior to Ronaldo.
Between both superstars, they have won ten Ballon d’Or awards in a total of eleven years.
Asked to choose between Ronaldo and Messi, Awoniyi made his choice but reiterated that both were great and revered players.
“But Messi is my favourite because he does things with ease and makes football looks so easy. He’s for sure the best.
“Ronaldo is an example of hard work and talent and he is an example that one can achieve whatever you determine to be.”
I love Ronaldo, he makes the game of football more competitive and he has vigour.
Messi is my choice too. The greatest footballer ever. Yes he does play as if there's no stress involved, always relaxed and confident.
