Kobe's deathsteemCreated with Sketch.

The early loss of Kobe Bryant is one of the greatest losses humanity has ever had.

Kobe was relentless, unlike many NBA players that took time off after retirement, Kobe went straight back to work. He published a book, gave interviews, made speeches and did everything he could to foster the next generation of NBA players as well as give back to society.

Even non-basketball players are consistently inspired by this man.

Kobe has and always will be one of the greatest inspirations in my life.

Given the chance, I would love to learn more from him. There's so much we didn't get to see and these "what if's" will continue to haunt me for the rest of my life.

I say this without a doubt: Kobe's achievements after his career ended could have been greater than anything he has achieved during his career. And it saddens me that we now have no way of finding out what plans he had in stall.

If you've followed me for a while, you'll know that Kobe is my all time favorite NBA player. Yet, I have waited for a while before making this post so that I have time to collect my thoughts. Hopefully, you guys enjoyed watching Kobe as much as I did.

Do watch this video to see what Pau Gasol says about Kobe, from the viewpoint of someone who has closely interacted with him daily.

Normally this is where I would plug my other accounts, but it feels disrespectful to do it here this time, so instead, I would like to say: "Thank you Kobe, for everything."
