Dwight Howard good fit for the Lakers or nah?steemCreated with Sketch.

There was an era in which centers were superstars rather than guards, and were seen as legends. In that era, Dwight Howard was more dominant, he had a a larger presence than many other players his size.

However, things have changed since then and Dwight Howard career has basically stagnated. "Would you like an opportunity for your charge?", the reporter must have asked him. And in response he must have said "I will win a championship".

Seeing him join the Lakers, you can't help but compare him on the Lakers with Kobe to the current Lakers with him and Lebron. Perhaps one day he'll tell us who was a better teammate, adding fuel to the debate on whether Kobe or Lebron are better teammates - and more importantly, GOAT candidates.

As always, thanks for reading! I hope you have a great day/night. Do let me know what kind of sport/fitness posts you guys enjoy in the comments below. I love almost all sports, though my primary passion is basketball. If you enjoyed this post, leave me an upvote!

Also, if you like gaming or music, I'm working on two new accounts: @retropetroleum and @retropetrolmusic :) You can also check me out on twitch.tv/retropetroleum or retropetroleum on Youtube. It's a work in progress so do bear with me. I don't have the money to afford better hardware so my stream crashes sometimes and it's quite difficult to make any content since I can't really edit my videos but I try to stream every weekend morning 8am-2pm Singapore time (8pm-2am Washington DC)

I think Bigmen superstars started to decline when NBA's most strategic plays are focused in converting threes rather than isolation and post-ups. I missed those battles inside the paint.

I think so too! And I agree, especially watching players like Hakeem. We don't see that anymore :(
