Giovanny Urshela, Yankees figure
The Colombian baseball player Giovanny Urshela was the great figure of the New York Yankees in the 6-2 triumph over the Tampa Bay Rays in the first of two games scheduled for Thursday at Yankee Stadium.

Urshela, who served as third baseman on the defensive end, scored his ninth home run of the season that at the time served to tie the game that was 2-0 in favor of the Tampa Bay team.
In the bottom of the second inning and with a ball in his account, the Cartagena took advantage of a 91-mile-per-hour line by Venezuelan pitcher Yonny Chirinos to hit the ball and get the home run in between left and center. With this hit, Urshela also towed his teammate Didi Gregorius who was in third base.
Urshela stood out in his other three at-bats by connecting a single to right field and a double, the seventeenth of the season, to tow Gary Sanchez and put the score 5-2 for the 'Bronx Bombers'.
