The home side of Eczacıbaşı VitrA W came out as the victors in the clash with Fenerbahçe Opet at the start of the 2020 CEV Women’s Volleyball Champions League pool stage yesterday.
Both teams have long been known to be great rivals in the game of volleyball but irrespective of how much feud and tension that comes to play, there will always be one winner of a tie.

One player who stood out the most in yesterday's encounter was Eczacıbaşı VitrA's Natália Pereira, as she put up a stunning performance where she recorded 26 points which amongst other contributions was enough to help them seal victory over Fenerbahçe Opet. The player who is also part of the Brazilian women's volleyball national team has been doing great so far, proving instrumental on every outing.

Another player who put up a great performance was Fenerbahçe's Melissa Vargas. She brought the scores back to 2-2 when her team was trailing behind Eczacıbaşı. She secured 23 points for the visitors which is proof how influential she is in the team but sadly that wasn't enough to help them offset their great rival.
