The Awesomeness of Football Games
Hi all, welcome to another post of mine… it has been a great new week. Yesterday I shared a little bit about favorite esport games and why they are awesome. Today, I will be talking about the awesomeness of football games. An exciting topic for me to talk about as football games are up there in my list of favorite console and PC games. But before I go on, let me first use this moment to talk about the results of the euro qualifiers matches that have just finished not long ago… Lavita vs Austria ended 1-0, Germany vs Northern Ireland ended 6-1, Wales vs Hungary ended 2-0, North Macedonia vs Israel ended 1-0, Belgium vs Cyprus ended 6-1, Poland vs Slovenia ended 3-2, San Marino vs Russia ended 0-5, Scotland vs Kazakhstan ended 3-1, Slovakia vs Azerbaijan ended 2-0, Netherland vs Estonia ended 5-0. I’m really excited for Belgium for finishing the group with a maximum of 30 points, what a great achievement for them.
Back to the topic for today… football games like I have said a few times in my posts are one of my favorite type of games. I like playing PES a lot and recently I have also delved into FIFA which for me is a fabulous game with stunning realistic graphics and commentary. If you have noticed in my previous posts, I made mention how I like playing sport games as it is just about the moment and not a sequence of story line. I remember back then when I was still learning how to play PES on the playstation 2 console with a few friends of mine, it was quite a challenging period though, but with determination and constant practice, it became much more easier to understand the controls and how to think strategically when playing the game.
FIFA as we already know is a huge huge PES rival. For me, both games are amazing in their own ways. There are elements of PES that I like a lot, the same goes to FIFA as there are elements in FIFA that I like a lot as well. For example, the overall graphics style and commentary when the game is playing is very realistic and feels more like a real life match. In fact, if someone who have never seen or played a FIFA game walks into the room where FIFA is being played, he/she might think it is a real life match on the screen, except during close ups when the character faces will obviously give it away as a game. PES for me has better overall gameplay and the players move and feel more realistic overall. Both games can be very frustrating especially when the AI decides to mess with the player and utilize scripted moves in the game. Nevertheless, football games are so awesome… Thanks for reading!.
