Golden Boy Award: Samuel Chukwueze, Dele-Bashiru Make 40 Man Shortlist
Both Super Eagles of Nigeria forward Samuel Chukwueze and Flying Eagles midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru have been included in the Golden Boy award 40-man shortlist.
The organisers of this annual award is Tuttosport and it is awarded to under 21 players who have distinguished themselves in the area of football. They were earlier Included in the comprehensive list of 100 best young players in the world.
They will have to contend with the current winner, Matthijs De ligt who plays for Juventus, also Phil Foden who plays for Manchester City, Mason Mount of Chelsea, Vinicius Junior of Real Madrid amongst so many others for the prestigious prize.
Chukwueze enjoyed a breakthrough season in The 2018-19 LaLiga campaign season was an impressive one for Chukwueze who played so brilliantly and earned himself a place in the list. He is 20.
Dele-Bashiru, who just moved this summer Watford is also is one youngsters whose name is in the list.
Samuel Chukwueze deserves to win because he really has proved to be a force to reckon with. He really has distinguished himself.
