A DISASTROUS night of MMA capping for me. I went 0-3 losing EVERY single pick.

Ian Heinisch (1.68) vs Derek Brunson (2.30)

Strike 1. I got my Heinisch pick wrong. Brunson proved to be a much better gatekeeper than I figured. I gave way too much credit to Heinisch who lost the standup battle with Brunson on the way to a decision loss. This was a bad sign for my picks the rest of the night.

Anthony Pettis (1.76) vs Nate Diaz (2.16)

Strike 2. I knew my Pettis pick was going in the gutter fast when Diaz took him down so easily. Pettis' takedown defense as bad as ever it looks like. Diaz went on to take an easy unanimous decision winning both the standup and ground game.

Daniel Cormier (1.78) vs Stipe Miocic (2.15)

Strike 3 for my last pick as Cormier went down in flames in the 4th round. He looked good in the first 2 rounds but Miocic mounted a comeback in the 3rd and especially the 4th round. Cormier had to be saved by the referee and lost via TKO.
