Jacksonville Jaguars star cornerback Jalen Ramsey is arguably the best defensive player on the field on any given Sunday. Last week (against the Houston Texans) Ramsey wanted the head coach to throw the red challenge flag to dispute a completed catch. The head coach, Doug Marrone, did no such thing and that led to this intense confrontation...

After the game the head coach took questions from reporters and was eventually asked about his fight with Jalen Ramsey. Here is his take on what happened on the sideline...

To put things into perspective, things between Ramsey and Marrone have been quite tense since training camp. The cornerback showed up in a 'Brinks Armored Truck' on the very first day of practice to show his displeasure regarding his salary.

After the fight last week Ramsey asked his agent to trade him to another team. In response, head coach Marrone told reporters that their were no plans to let Ramsey go.

Now fast forward to yesterday. The cornerback decided to literally "call-in sick" and according to Adam Shefter of ESPN, Ramsey still wants to be traded.

As for me, I am siding with Deion Sanders's argument (in the first clip). As a member of a team each and every player needs to know that their coach 'has their back.' Marrone seems unapologetic (the second clip) and conceited.

Last year Jacksonville finished the season with a 5-11 record under coach Marrone.

As for now... the Jaguars are currently sitting in third place in the AFC South with a 1-2 record. If the team doesn't at least have a winning record by the end of the season, I don't expect the head coach to be in Jacksonville next year.

Doug Marrone is a bitchass. He has no control over that locker room. The players respect Jalen more than him. DJ Hayden literally stood up mid-sip of a drink and told Marrone to get back to where he belongs.

Jalen tired of that sorry ass team plus they ain't trying to pay him... his morale is down he's the best CB in the game and the talent is wasting playing for that sorry ass team with a bonehead coach with no winning pedigree.
