Thunder Trade Westbrook To Rockets For Paul
The Nuggets continued their long game plan of working for the future.
They traded former MVP and superstar guard Russell Westbrook to the Houston Rockets for Chris Paul. The team met with Westbrook after trading Paul George to the Los Angeles Clippers.
In return, the Thunder amassed 8 first round draft picks this off season.
By taking back Paul, Houston fits Westbrook under the cap limit.
The deal reunited Westbrook with another former MVP, James Harden. The duo played together in Oklahoma City a few years back.
