Greysia and Apriani successfully ensured the semifinal tickets at the 2019 badminton world championships while ensuring 1 medal for Indonesia from the women's doubles sector.

To face China's strongest women's doubles winner of the 2018 Asean Games gold medal, women's doubles from Indonesia performed stunningly through the usual wild struggle to win the match yesterday with a final score of 25-23 23-21 won by Greysia and Afriani.

In the semifinals of the Indonesian women's doubles pair will face the winner between Mayu Matsuko / Wakana Nagohara and Shiho Tanaka / Koharu Yonemoto.
