Dancesport
Dancesport combines both sports and dance into one.
Edgefield Primary School in Singapore provided students the opportunity to learn both Standard and Latin Ballroom Dance Steps.

These kids get to learn social graciousness as well as strengthen their health and fitness level.
Students in the Dancesport get to go competitions to showcase their dance talents.
The importance of respecting their dance partners and teamwork is life lessons that we may not be able to teach in our regular classroom.
The school has nurtured the love of dance in many of the members of Dancesport club even when they graduated from the school.

The kids are really enjoying the joy of dancing. It is good to see that dancesport is introduced to students in primary school. This gives more choices to students.
I remembered my secondary school invited a dance teacher to teach us Cha Cha Cha during PE lesson. Though it lated for 1 semester, I really enjoyed it.
