June 3, 20: AutomaticWin, Xbox, Gardening, Teaching, and Games

Out of sack promptly at quarter past six today. Only twenty minutes short of a full night, but short nonetheless.

Got my usual morning routine done. Not much happening in the crypto markets after the wonky Bart Simpson moves over the past couple days. Volumes are relatively low, so remaining cautious. Bloomberg did put out a very bullish article calling for $20k Bitcoin by the end of the year. When moon?

Although I set out with plenty of time to score the #AutomaticWin, I didn’t complete the whole ten thousand while I was out on my walk. I had more than a thousand left and got wrapped up in doing my post (similar to right now)...I caught it in time, though, and finished up with some laps around the house.

Fantastic weather out. 😁 Sunny and warm, but a bit of a breeze...yummy.

It was a little overcast, which made it look colder than it actually was, but that took the scorch out of the sun for a while.

Looks like we’re getting another, brand new layer on top of the road they put in last year! 😮

In the afternoon I played some Inquisitor on the Xbox. It was just too nice out to waste the whole day inside, so I only played for a little while and then went out to do some more work in the garden.

I didn’t do as much as yesterday (need to be mindful of the nice sunburn I’ve got going). Ended up with one sled full of weeds and called it a day.

Meanwhile, arcange decided to post a sort of call to action, creating a tool to blacklist anyone who posts on Hive and Steem. At first he said he was going to start downvoting (pissibly), but he backed off that right away and instead insisted he was “choosing not to support” people who post on both chains. I figured that’s fair enough, and so I returned the favor by removing my witness vote from him.

In the evening I met up for Calculus on Zoom. Kinda’ sucks that we get booted after fourty minutes because I only have the basic subscription. May end up doing two in a row or meeting some other times.

I tried to see if I could stream through Discord (you’re supposed to be able to with the “go live” function) but it seems that doesn’t support webcam, just like streaming games.

It was already getting late by then, so I just had some cereal for dinner, played some Splinterlands and fell asleep watching the Flash.

More of the same in my dCity today. No robberies, and I’m getting pretty close to being able to afford an Apartment (provided there’s one for sale). While I do like the fact that it’s not a time intensive game, it’s a bit frustrating that the only way to advance, really, is to buy more SIM (smart on the Gerb’s part, I suppose).

I didn’t get my arena task done today, but I was able to complete the others. Turns out I didn’t need to do anything with my breadcrumbs after all because they were all in-game and not stuck on the market. 😀

Having a tough time recovering in the ranks after being locked out for a couple days. Even so, holding at least.

My Splinterlands quest was Fire splinter today. It took me a few more battles this time, but not terrible, and I made a little progress toward Diamond II.
