Welle

---

Welle, laß dich umarmen,
obwohl du mich zu Boden schlägst,
mir den Halt
meiner Füße versagst.
Aufwühlend und schäumend
kommst du daher,
wild und ungezähmt.

Folgend dem Sturm!

Wildes Aufbäumen tanzt
mit Schaum auf deinen Kämmen.

Ohne Wind bist du zahm und matt,
denn nach dem Sturm
schmeichelnd du meinen Fuß umspülst.

Glitzernd plätschern deine Wellen
im Abendwind,
die Nacht
erwartend.

---

Wave, let's embrace you,
even though you beat me to the ground.
me the stop
my feet fail.
Stirring and foaming
come therefore,
wild and untamed.

Following the storm!

Wild trees on dancing
with foam on your comb.

Without wind, you're tame and matt,
because after the storm
coaxing you umspülst my foot.

Sparkle your waves lap
in the evening breeze.
the night
awaiting.
