Sports Photography: Son's First Day of Muay Thai Training
This past week, my son started taking Muay Thai lessons. The pictures above were taken on his first session last Wednesday.
He's really enjoying it, and even looks forward to the next session. I've always tried to encourage my kids to be active in sports or just any physical activity, but kids ultimately have to decide what it is they really like. I remember signing my son up for basketball and swimming before, and he liked doing the sports but hated having to attend the classes, so we ended up not enrolling him again in those classes. Nowadays. he still plays basketball and enjoys swimming but no longer in a class.
I was worried that he would feel the same about Martial Arts, particularly Muay Thai, but I was surprised to learn that he actually loves going to the class. I signed him up for 20 sessions and the trainer mentioned that I can even use some of the sessions for myself if I also want to try and learn. Perhaps I will. 💜
