Saif Sporting Club's victory in the final of Sheikh Abu Naser Football

Dhaka Saif Sporting Club won the title of Pabna District Police by 4-1 goals in the final Shaheed Sheikh Abu Naser Football Tournament, organized by Bagerhat District Football Association.

The final game was played at Bagerhat Sheikh Helal Uddin Stadium on Thursday (03 May).

In the first half of the game, Saif Sporting Club's 21st seeded player scored an independent first goal. In the second half, Rahim, the 29th player of the winner's team, took the team forward with another goal. In the 11th minute, the team-mates of the winning team made an independent goal.

Kafi, a foreign player of Pabna district police's 10-member team, paid a goal. At the last minute of the game, Saif Sporting Club's 99 jersey holder foreign player Geo scored more goals to increase the gap.

Salam Murshidi, Senior Vice President of Bangladesh Football Federation, handed over five lakh taka as cash and trophy to the Saif Sporting Club players and cash prize money at the end of the game. Pabna district police team was given runnersup trophy and cash Tk. 3 lakh.

President of Bagerhat District Football Association Paura Mayor Khan Habibur Rahman presided over the function as the Guest of Honor Sheikh Abu Naser's son Sheikh Helal Uddin MP of Bagerhat-1 constituency Sheikh Helal Uddin.

Bagerhat-4 constituency member Dr. Mozammel Hossain, District Council Chairman Sheikh Kamruzzaman Tuku, Primary and Mass Education Ministry joint secretary Sheikh Atahor Hossain, Bagerhat Deputy Commissioner Tapan Kumar Biswas, Police Super Pankaj Chandra Roy, executive member of Bangladesh Football Federation Chowdhury Zakir Hossain said.
