Both Atletico Madrid and PSG are missing their stars as a result of the recently concluded World Cup played in Russia. The main team of PSG including Neymar, Mbappe and Cavani won't take the field against Atletico. At the same time full back line of Atletico is out including their main striker Griezmann. While both teams are missing their most valuable players in this encounter, the bench strength of both teams will be tested.

PSG are a real good team if you look at the players they have at their disposal but with most of their stars resting, they don't look as good. Their back line was exploited by the Gunners as they put five past PSG in the recent encounter. PSG have played two matches in the International Championships Cup and lost both of them. They conceded as many as 8 goals in two matches exploiting their poor defence tactics.

The key players for PSG are missing but Weah and Verrati will be the men to look out for. Weah scored the lone goal against Bayern Munich and won the penalty against Arsenal. He has to play a key role in this match as well if PSG are to defeat Atketico. Verrati will undoubtedly be their best player for this match but he needs to work on his fitness to get ready for this match.

Atletico will be without ten frontline players including their star striker Antoinne Griezmann and entire back line.
Antonio Adam came off the bench against the Gunners in their previous pre season match which went into penalties and saved three which resulted in their win but he is unlikely to start this match which means Oblak will start for Atletico.

The key players for Atletico ahead of this encounter will be Correa and Vietto.
Correa set up the goal which was netted by Vietto against Arsenal and he has had an excellent previous season to go with the last match's assist.
Vietto scored the only goal from Atletico against Arsenal in their last encounter, he looks to be in a good form and is therefore one of the key players for Atletico.

Atletico Madrid may be short of experienced players but they have the momentum and better team at the moment as compared to PSG.
PSG on the other hand have tasted defeat in last two matches and they will be short of confidence as well. Their poor defence may well be exploited again in this match.
My prediction is 2-1 to Atletico.
