India vs Australia, 1st ODI -Australia won by 10 wkts

Here I come again to blog about my cricket topic - Cricket. This is about Australia tour of India where Australia will be playing 3 ODI's with this being the 1st one.

Australia won the toss and elected to field. India batting 1st has always been a problem and that too against a strong team like Australia was much challenging. Dhawan and Rohit opened the innings for India and the partnership didn't last long with Rohit trying to attack and losing his wicket to Starc. Then KL Rahul and Dhawan had a good partnership with the duo adding 121 off 136 balls and then both fell in two consecutive overs . And then Australia were all over India by picking up wickets every now and then. Against such a strong opponent like Australia ,India just managed to set a target of 256 to chase for the Aussies.
David Warner and Aaron Finch opened the innings for the Aussies and man what a character they displayed !!!It was wow!!! They scored 84 runs in the power-play and never looked worried by any Indian bowler. Both scored century and won with all 10 wickets in hand. David Warner was declared Man of the Match for his 128 off 112 balls (3 sixes and 17 fours)
Some Facts about this match :-
- 256 being 2nd highest target chased down without losing a wicket in ODI.
- India 3rd consecutive loss at Wankhede stadium,Mumbai
- This 258 being 3rd highest partnership for the Aussies.
