SportSteem Week 9 NFL Recap
Another week, another batch of storylines to sort through. At this point in the season, some teams are seeing their playoff hopes go up in smoke and it has some guys agitated. In Cincinnati, normally mild-mannered A.J. Green lost it and went after Jalen Ramsey as the Bengals lost, falling to 3-5. In New Orleans, Jameis Winston instigated a brouhaha that ended up with Mike Evans body-slamming a Saints defender and throwing punches. The Buccaneers lost by 20 points and dropped to 2-6.
In Philly, the Broncos completely fell apart – giving up 51 points – as Broncos Nation turns its lonely eyes to Paxton Lynch (Brock Osweiler?). The Giants are similarly hopeless and gave up 51 points to the resurgent Rams as Sean McVay has his team looking like a worthy challenger to the Seahawks in the NFC West. Week 9 ended with Detroit grabbing a rare win in Green Bay as Brett Hundley, it turns out, is not a worthy heir to Favre and Rodgers.
In Vegas, it was a good weekend for the favorites as they went 9-4 SU and 7-4-2 ATS. A couple of big underdogs won straight up, headlined by the Redskins waltzing into Seattle and winning at +350. The week’s games were capped with a brutal beat for anyone with the under (43) in the Lions-Packers game. With the score 30-10, the Packers were given one final play on the 1-yard line after a Defensive PI flag, allowing the Packers to score with no time on the clock.

Hi @sportsteem, i just recently joined the prediction team (with a poor start). Its an interesting concept that is very enjoyable. I was wondering if you have any designs to add boxing as a possible prediction choice. Thanks.
Greetings, Brian from the team here. Thanks for the positive feedback! Absolutely we're planning to support every sport / league people are interested in. We don't have an exact date for boxing yet, but we'll definitely be adding more options this year. Is there a specific boxing match you're looking forward to?
Hi Brian, really happy to hear that boxing will be a future addition to @sportsteem and will eagerly await its inclusion.
There are a few fights that i'm looking forward to for different reasons, a few up and comers who are still in that learning curve but who could potentially be future stars. Miguel Cotto is having his last ever fight(i've been a long time fan of Miguel's and although it saddens me to see his great career end, i hate to see ageing boxers carrying on to long) but the the fight that interests me most at the moment, as it probably does most boxing fans, is Lomachenko vs Rigondeaux, they are two of the best pound for pound boxers in the world today and sometimes these fights just don't happen, so when they do, they have to savoured.
keep steemin and keep well @steem-d-anlovnit.
An interesting take on the NFL weekend. How does this NFL Challenge work?
Hey John, it's easy! Just make a post about your NFL prediction and then add the tags -- we support spread picks (#spread), moneylines (#ml), and totals (#over / #under). For Patriots spread this week, add these tags: #sportsteem #ne #spread . You can track your progress in the contest on sportsteem.com. Check out @sportsteem posts for more info and hope to see your picks soon!
