Bangladesh lost to West Indies in the first ODI match

In the first ODI match, Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat, scoring 294 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 50 overs. There were three half-centuries in the match. Mehedi Hasan Miraj scored 74 off 131 balls, Tanjid Hasan scored 60 runs off 60 balls, while Mahmudullah Riyad remained unbeaten on 50 runs off 44 balls. Zaker Ali was dismissed for 48 off 40 balls and Afif Hossain for 28 runs off 29 balls. West Indies' Shepherd took 3 wickets for 51 runs. In reply, West Indies won with 14 balls to spare thanks to Sherfane Rutherford's century. Rutherford scored 113 off 80 balls and captain Shai Hope scored 86.
