RE: Calling all Snowboarders, Action sport Athletes, Adventure Filmmakers! LET'S CONNECT ON STEEM. Checkout Part 2 of my first Snowboard Film 'Amateur Hour'
Another great edit! Your eye for what you are trying to capture is great and our team really enjoyed the flow of the edit. It was really fun as a general edit, but as you keep making edits you may want to consider focusing more on either park or backcountry riding. One thought is if you are incorporating both styles to maybe include a title, an establishing shot of the resort or zone you are in, or even just a dip to black to break up the viewer's expectations of what you are about to ride. Also if you can manage it split board. Some of our team snowboards and getting a split board was the single best thing that helped them excel and increase the amount and breadth of terrain that they could ride in a day. This will probably really help to allow you to get more footage in a day in more photogenic terrain plus reduce the amount of fatigue you will experience out there. Loved the POV powder laps too. it is always a bonus to watch riders plow through some untracked freshies. The stills you pulled are excellent by the way and they show some really great shot angles. We are all really looking forward to the next film and we would also love to hear some more story sprinkled in even if it is just a couch interview or a quick interview while you are out there like you opened with. The best part about adventure films is hearing from the adventurer what their experience was. Thanks for the shout out! If you can make it out to California let us know it would be great to go ride some backcountry with you and show you some of our favorite spots in Lake Tahoe.
@raftingmagazine thanks again. I really do alpreciate the feedback. Sometimes its hard to know where to go from here. But that gave me some really gokd insights.
I will absolutely hit you guys up! I would love to get out to lake tahoe. It sounds amazing. Next season ill make a trip out and hit you guys up.
Are you guys on stewmit chat?
Glad we could help with some insight! Please feel free to contact our content manager Trevor at [email protected]. He would be the best person to contact since he generally handles all of our team boaters and expedition trips. We're looking forward to seeing your next edit!
