Hart Absent at the World Cup, Competitors in the UK surprised
The surprise was made England manager Tim Garas Southgate. He did not include the name of experienced goalkeeper, Joe Hart, into the squad that will appear in the 2018 World Cup.
Hart has bagged 75 appearances with the England national team. however, the 31-year-old failed to impress West Ham United this season, so it must be willing to cross.
This news makes many people surprised. Including competitor Hart in England, Jack Butland.
"I think we'll all think 'wow'this is a surprising decision from the manager. I've spoken to Joe, and he's beaten up for missing the World Cup, "Butland said as quoted by Soccerway.
"I know Joe for a long time, he's my hero since I was 14 years oldI still respect him, "he continued.
With Hart scored, Butland's chances of becoming England's number one goalkeeper wide open. Stoke City goalkeeper is competing with Jordan Pickford (Everton) and Nick Pope (Burnley).
England joined in Group G at the 2018 World Cupthe Three Lions compete with Belgium, Tunisia and Panama.
