A Nearly Dead Experience! BIG WAVE SURFING

The weather in Portugal is going crazy at the moment, there's floods everywhere, it has being raining for some time but was some weeks ago that the sea went mental!

During one of the biggest swells of the season, thousands of people were there to watch the big wave surfers in action when something terrible happened. After Alex Botelho wipedout, Hugo Vau tried to rescue him, they proceed with finding his surfboard, a decision that might have cost their life if things went bad!

I was at the cliff watching all of this, speechless, like most of us.  Right next to me was the guys at @maquinavoadora that had a crazy time filming this nearly dead experience.

Gladly nothing serious happened and Alex went on to catch one of the biggest waves of the day
