Tomorrow, the 14th of February will be a day filled with love, passion, romance and heart breaks. Not because of Valentine's day, nah, who really cares about that? What am I talking about then? Well the Champions Leauge match between two of the biggest clubs in Europe right now, Madrid and PSG.

Many of my friends have their own predictions on who will win for a myriad of reasons so I just want to share my own views on the topic. This promises to be an epic clash. Let's begin.

Madrid overview

Madrid is currently having one heck of a slow, inconsistent season. With their point man, the Legend, Cr7 not firing like he used to, Benzema unable to score in empty nets and Zidane getting a hard time from the media, we see the Champs of Europe struggling to win games consistently. After a string of sub-par performances for the Los Blancos Club, we see Barcelona running away with the La Liga with Madrid nowhere near to closing them out. As a result, they have been written off by many top analysts around the world.

The defending champs definitely have something to prove.

PSG overview

The clear best in France at the moment, some even say in Europe. This year's French league has been a stroll in the park for Kings of Paris. After buying Neymar for a ridiculous price ( while people are starving to death I may add) Paris Saint-German have stated their claims to winning their first Champions Leauge title. After being trashed by Barca 6-1 last year all thanks to Neymar, PSG is desperate to wipe away their utter humiliation and nothing less than the title will do it.

The team revolves around Neymar, mBappe, Di Maria, and Canvani. All of who have been merciless this season, simply brilliant, utterly ruthless. It's a brilliant joy to watch them play.

Real Madrid

Christiano Ronaldo

The world's best player. Winning his 5th player of the year after almost single handily winning both the La Liga and Champion's league title for Madrid last year.

While not being on the best form of his life, Cr7 is surely the man that can win any game and he always turns up when needed the most.

Neymar

Neymar has been the best in the world of football since moving to Paris in my view. Some may argue that it is Messi but unlike Barca who is littered with stars who could dominate any game, PSG without Neymar is hardly worth watching. Yet they are one of the favorites to win all competitions they are in.

Why? Because of the wonder kid from Brazil. My favorite player. The man has really stepped up and showed his quality. A man with a heart of gold and skills to kill. Out here doing things that are dazzling to a blind man's eyes.

Final Predictions

So after taking a good look at both teams in several games and taking into consideration the stakes to play for I have to say I pick Madrid to simply trash PSG tomorrow.

The reason is that while PSG can dominate average teams they don't have the killer instinct to slaughter a team of similar or higher caliber. In other words, they don't know how to win against big teams. Normally, in a game with two legs, I would pick PSG to win the first leg against any team then leave the second leg up to chance. But not this time.

Madrid has something to prove. They have not been performing well enough this season. If they lose this game no one will support them. Well, no one other than the Madrid fans lol.
If they win though, they will be announcing to the world that they are here and they are here to defend their title. What better way to do that than to execute the Kings of France?

PSG also have a lot to play far but I feel that Madrid will be more hungry for it, Cr7 will be starving.

Of course, Neymar will do his thing. I suspect that he will be the one player giving his all and giving Madrid hell but the depth in quality of PSG will also be a deciding factor.
